·         Types of the audit

·         Internal audits – objectives, scope and criteria

·         Auditing skills

·         Planning, preparation and management of audits

·         Reporting audit findings

·         Verifying the corrective action

On the course completion participants will be able to:

·         Understand specific requirements of automotive standard

·         Understand 3 types of internal audits required by ISO/TS 16949 (system, process and product)

·         Understand the audit phases of planning, execution & follow up

·         Carry out internal audits

This ISO/TS 16949:2009 an Overview training programme may be beneficial to Quality Managers, management representatives, internal auditors, purchasing system managers and employees with responsibility to carry out the internal audits.

The experience in internal auditing and knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO/TS 16949 would be beneficial but not necessary.
